**Your mission**:
We are currently looking for a **Research Assistant - Formulation**.

Ethris, based in the biotech hub Planegg / Munich, Germany, is a technical innovator in the field of messenger RNA (mRNA) therapeutics, an emerging alternative to gene therapies and protein-based drugs.

The company has developed two proprietary technology platforms to enable the use of mRNA as a therapeutic agent: stabilized non-immunogenic mRNA (SNIM®RNA) for transcript therapy and lipidoid nanoparticle (LNP) delivery technologies for SNIM® RNA delivery.

We focus on the development of mRNA-based therapeutics and vaccines for the treatment of respiratory diseases. Our technology helps replace or supplement missing or non-functional proteins or introduce new proteins to modulate disease progression or symptoms. We are committed to bringing these new technologies to patients as soon as possible.

In this role you will support the in-house manufacturing of mRNA drugs during proof of concept and pre-clinical studies.

**You will be in charge of:
- formulation of mRNAs incl. quality control to support research and development activities
- supporting organization of timely production of these formulations
- documentation of results (e.g. reports, CoAs)
- distribution of formulations for internal as well as external studies
- laboratory management as well as order of raw materials and consumables

**Your profile**:

- You have a strong hands-on mentality and like to work in a dedicated team
- You have a life sciences oriented professional training (BTA, CTA, MTA, PTA or equivalent)
- You are reliable, organized and work thoroughly
- Good skills in written and spoken English / fluency in German is required
- It’s a plus, if you have experience in nanoparticle formulation - but more importantly you are quick in picking up on things and always willing to learn something new
