**Your Tasks and Responsibilities**: - You will strengthen our pre-clinical pharmacology & biomarker development team by contributing to the - (pre-)clinical research and development of novel immune-checkpoint inhibitors and their further clinical development. Your tasks include: - Design and implementation of cell-based assays to analyze the pharmacological impact of novel immune-checkpoint inhibitors on primary immune cells and tumor cells using various immunological and cell-based assays - Detailed analysis of primary immune cell (lymphoid and myeloid) subsets, their activation and function using flow cytometry and other advanced immunological assays - Design, implementation and qualification of _in vitro_ and _ex vivo_ cell-based and cell-free biomarker assays - Perform routine culture and expansion of primary immune cells, tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes and tumor cell cultures - Careful documentation as well as presentation of your results in internal meetings **What we are looking for**: - You hold a degree in biology, biotechnology or related fields, or have completed vocational training as a laboratory assistant such as BTA, MTA, CTA or equivalent with 2+ years of industry experience - Deep knowledge of tumor biology and immunology is advantageous - You have hands-on experience in immune cell (lymphoid and myeloid) functional assays (cytotoxicity assays, cytokine analysis, polarization assays, mixed lymphoid reaction assays, etc.) - You are experienced in cell biology (isolation and cultivation of primary cells and cell lines, proliferation assays) and immunological techniques, e.g., ELISA, bead-based multiplex assays, multicolor flow cytometry (> 8 colors) including independent panel design, western blot, etc. - Molecular biology assays, such as DNA transfections and transduction are familiar to you - You are proficient with MS Office, GraphPad Prism and FlowJo - Experience in scientific data analysis and visualization, e.g., tSNE, PCA, heatmaps, would be a plus - You are fluent in English (spoken and written) - You are a highly motivated, flexible, and creative individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills - You are efficient at working in collaborative and diverse teams **Why to join iOmx?**: - We are a young biotechnology company with about 50 employees in Martinsried/Munich.
