Staycity Group are seeking to appoint a Director of Sales Germany who will be a key member of Staycity’s commercial leadership team reporting to the Commercial Director. **Benefits: We want you and your loved ones to thrive, we’ll support your health, wellness, learning and development and if you decide it’s time to start or grow a family rest assured we celebrate that too**: - Paid Maternity, Surrogacy, Adoptive & Paternity leave - Health and Dental Insurance - EC Pension - Annual bonus - Support for you and your family when you need it with our Employee Assistance Program - Education support - Staff rates: From €25 per night - Overnight stays for you, and your family and friends **Ideally you will have experience in the following**: - Strong leadership skills through working in a similar role or as a multi property BDM or Senior Sales Manager - Proactively develop sales strategies, working with all relevant departments, and ensure sales strategy implementation - Experience developing, co-ordinating and implementing programmes to increase profitable sales in all product areas, as well as devising the annual budget for Germany - Well-developed analytical skills and curiosity, with the ability to monitor and identify current and future business trends to ensure profitable sales in periods of low and high demand, as well as understanding the different needs of market segments and implementing appropriate strategies to maximise sales and profitability - Experience and confidence in contract evaluations and negotiations - Forecasting skills, ensuring consistent awareness of current and forecasted business performance, responding as required - Overseeing a proactive and effective prospecting programme, regularly reviewing the performance of each sales manager and auditing key account activity - Commitment to attending recognised industry events and roadshows - Engage with on-property sales and operations teams, nurturing relationships and collaborating to provide the best guest experiences - Engage with head office revenue team to ensure best practices with regards to segmentation mix and negotiations - Ability to motivate and develop a market leading and results driven sales team. - Ensure the adoption and correct use of Salesforce throughout the German sales team **Systems** Knowledge of the following systems is an advantage but not essential - Salesforce, Opera PMS, Ideas G3, PowerPoint, MS Office **If you feel you are the right fit, then please click "apply" now Go on
