Alexander Daniels Global are working with a ‘hyper-growth’ digital manufacturing start-up in Berlin. Well backed by several large industrial companies, they are disrupting the On-Demand Manufacturing market with an industry leading technology solution.
Having grown to a team of over 40 people since their launch, less than a year ago, they have aggressive and ambitious plans for the future. To support their growth, they now require a strong Sales Director to join and help lead an established sales and business development team. This is a hands on sales leadership position where you will nurture new client opportunities and close deals, while also managing potential major accounts.
The Sales Director will form part of the management team and will therefore also work closely with the CEO and wider leadership team to help define strategy and ensure a strong product market fit for their solution. As Sales Director you will drive revenue growth for the business building and leading a high performing sales team.

The successful Sales Director will have a proven track record selling manufacturing solutions to Industrial Customers. Experience selling a range of manufacturing services including Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing, CNC Machining, Sheet Metal, Metal Injection Moulding is essential. You will have implemented strong sales processes and be capable closing deals with a range of customers. You must be a proven leader, able to manage and inspire a growing team. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, seamlessly working with external customers and internal stakeholders. You will have experience of working with CRM systems to manage sales pipeline and forecasting revenue. You must be prepared to travel regularly to Berlin, if not prepared to relocate there. You will also need to travel to potential clients and other relevant trade events.
