Your tasks
The Global Tire Logistics - Warehousing & Distribution division at our location Hannover-Stöcken is in charge of the tactical and strategic design of global tire logistics.
Within this exciting work environment, we are offering a mandatory internship position starting at the earliest possible date to support us in our various projects and day-to-day business. For the best learning experience possible, the internship should require a duration of 4 - 6 months.
Your tasks include the following activities:
- Support in the implementation of logístical quality requirements and various quality projects in the warehouse locations
- Support by internal logistics audits according to ISO/TS 16949
- Selection and evaluation of new technologies and innovations to optimize warehouse processes
- Collaboration in continuous improvement projects of existing automation solutions in the warehouse area
- Independent and autonomous preparation of global logistics reports and monthly KPIs
**Profile**:
- Students (M/F/diverse) studying Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or similar
- Ideally having a specialization in Logistics, Supply Chain or transportation
- Ideally basic experience in logistics or in the technical field
- Competent handling of MS Office-Programs (esp. Access, Excel and PowerPoint
- Very good English and German skills (written and spoken)
- Analytical thinking and a good understanding of numbers
- Dependent working style, high commitment, flexibility as well as creativity
- Team, organizational, and communication skills
