**Your Tasks**:

- Define and communicate the overarching design vision and strategy in alignment with the company's objectives and brand identity
- Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate design thinking into business strategy and decision-making processes
- Lead, mentor and inspire a multidisciplinary team of designers, including graphic designers, industrial designers and others
- Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and collaboration within the design team, empowering individuals to achieve their full potential
- Oversee the end-to-end design process, from conceptualisation to implementation, ensuring high-quality, cohesive, and user-centric design solutions
- Ensure brand guidelines and design standards are adhered to across all channels and platforms, maintaining brand integrity and reinforcing brand equity
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to gain insights into user behavior, preferences and pain points
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, objectives and project requirements

**Your Profile**:

- University degree in Design, Structural Engineering, Architecture; additional business or management qualifications preferred
- Extensive experience in design leadership roles, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in multiple design disciplines
- Proven track record of delivering innovative design solutions that drive business results and enhance customer experiences
- Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor and develop a high-performing design team
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into creative design strategies and solutions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Proficiency in design tools and software, as well as a strong understanding of design principles, methodologies and trends
- Good German und fluent English skills
