Head of Product

**Your Impact**:
As Head of Product at Tacto, you'll define and execute the product vision that transforms procurement for industrial 'Mittelstand' companies across Europe. Reporting directly to the CEO as part of the executive leadership team, you'll own the complete product strategy and roadmap with full autonomy. In this player-coach role, you'll lead a team of 5 PMs while remaining hands-on with critical initiatives. Your leadership will be instrumental in bringing innovative solutions to a trillion-dollar industry, creating tangible cost savings and supply chain resilience for the backbone of the European economy. This is a unique opportunity to shape both our product direction and organizational structure during a pivotal growth phase, with direct influence on how thousands of companies manage their procurement processes.

**Your Tasks**:

- ** Product Vision & Strategy**: Develop and execute our product strategy aligned with company objectives, creating solutions that deliver measurable business impact for our customers.
- ** Roadmap Ownership**: Own the product lifecycle from concept to launch, defining and prioritizing features based on market research, customer feedback, and commercial potential.
- ** Execution Excellence**: Establish clear frameworks for decision-making that increase delivery velocity while maintaining quality, with a strong focus on measurable business outcomes.
- ** Stakeholder Alignment**: Build strong relationships with customers, partners, and cross-functional leaders to gather insights and ensure product priorities drive business outcomes.
- ** Team Leadership**: Manage a team of product managers in a player-coach capacity, mentoring individuals while remaining hands-on with strategic initiatives.
- ** Organizational Building**: Scale a world-class product and design organization, establishing the processes and culture that enable exceptional execution as we grow.
- ** Commercial Focus**: Ensure product priorities drive revenue growth and retention by deeply understanding the German Mittelstand's procurement challenges and buying behaviors.
- ** Become AI Native**: Proactively identify opportunities to leverage AI to accelerate the work of your team, experiment with new approaches, and share successful workflows - contributing to Tacto's culture of high-velocity execution and innovation.

**Your Profile**:

- You have experience in a high-performing B2B SaaS product environment and know what excellence looks like
- You bring 5+ years in product management with at least 2 years of people leadership experience
- You have a strong commercial orientation and execution focus, with a track record of tying product strategy to business outcomes
- You possess both strategic vision and a desire to stay close to the details, excelling as a player-coach
- You have either founded a company or operated successfully in an early-stage environment where creativity and ambiguity tolerance were essential
- You're a decisive, principle-driven decision-maker with the ability to simplify complex problems
- You have experience with data/analytics products and/or serving SMB markets
- You're fluent in English, with German language skills preferred but not required
- You're willing to work from our Munich office at least 3 days per week
