**About**:
We are launching a new **Infrastructure as Code Cloud Asset Management Platform** built on top of our popular open-source tool Terramate. Terramate Cloud will enable teams to manage and observe all their cloud assets, automatically import and codify non-IaC managed assets, and detect and resolve drifts to prevent service failures.

As the **Tech Lead**, you will oversee the technical aspects of our engineering team, make architectural and product decisions and guide team members in technical matters to develop Terramate Cloud in close collaboration with the CTO.

You should have professional experience in building high-quality software on scale. CS degree is a plus. Work is remote, and we work exclusively with senior engineers in small, lean, and self-organized teams.

**Requirements**:

- Highly experienced in building complex digital products.
- You have a deep understanding of Cloud Services and know-how Infrastructure as Code (IaC) helps solve challenges in Cloud Environments.
- Software development experience with Typescript, Go or Rust and relevant test frameworks.
- Frontend development experience with Vuejs, TailwindCSS, UnoCSS and testing frameworks such as Vitest and Cypress.
- Passion for clear, clean, well-factored code.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Remote work within time zones UTC-2 to UTC+4. (Berlin time +/- 3 hours).

**Responsibilities**:

- You’ll partner with our CTPO/founder to define our product and development strategy.
- You’ll use your expertise to lead on engineering and roadmap.
- After initial success on engineering strategy, roadmap and execution, you’ll lead on scaling our engineering teams: slowly at first, and then quickly to ensure we can capture the opportunity in front of us.
- Working in short, agile, iterative development cycles and a strong desire to work in a fast-moving startup environment.
