We are seeking a highly skilled tech lead with experience in web and mobile app development to lead our dynamic development team.

Tasks
- Collaborate with the development team and product manager to strategize and plan software solutions
- Oversee the architecture design for client-side and server-side of our systems, including our mobile apps and upcoming web platform
- Lead the development and maintenance of our software across multiple platforms
- Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software
- Ensure the implementation of security and data protection settings
- Write technical documentation
- Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development, and proactively recommend improvements to existing systems
- Mentor junior team members, improving their skills and knowledge

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a tech lead or similar role
- Experience with full stack web development and knowledge about mobile app development (Native iOS and Android)
- Knowledge of multiple frontend technologies and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, React.Js, Next.Js, Vue.Js, Nuxt.Js, XML, jQuery)
- Knowledge of multiple backend technologies (e.g. Java) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Node.js)
- Familiarity with databases (e.g. MongoDB), Cloud servers & Architecture (e.g. AWS, Google, Azure), and UI/UX design
- Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field
- Language requirements: English (full professional proficiency) (& German is advantageous)
- Must be based in Berlin
