- Ensure the operational risk management framework, the asset integrity processes and systems, and the occupational safety and health management framework is implemented, applied and effective
- Ensure the incident management processes and system is implemented, applied and effective, and define and implement the company-wide occupational safety reporting criteria as part of the non-financial reporting process; ensure data assurance and advice on data content
- Ensure lessons learned management is integrated in all related processes and check continuous improvement based on governance framework
- Ensure best practices, relevant international standards and lessons learned are shared in the HSEQ community; stay informed on industry best practice and establish and maintain a good network within industry associations
- Execute audits and inspections in relevant areas of responsibility to ensure compliance and effectiveness of corporate HSEQ requirements
- Define and set the company-wide process safety reporting criteria; define, deliver, monitor, assure and report HSEQ related performance data and KPIs; define and implement the company-wide occupational safety reporting criteria as part of the non-financial reporting process
- Ensure relevant HSEQ training in the areas of responsibility at a global level is provided, applied and effective
- Provide technical and administrative advice in health, occupational safety and process safety, and provide HSEQ advise on business decisions, M&A activities and strategic assessments such as country/regional evaluations, and assess all factors for project decisions in projects reviews
- Deliver HSEQ reports for federal guarantees
- Owner of the global asset integrity framework, of the operational risk management process, of the global health management framework as well as owner of the incident management processes and system, and of the occupational safety reporting process
