The unit bundles marine operation competencies and best practices providing the highest safety, health, environmental and compliance standards for cruising. Our focus is on enhancing and facilitating effective communication and efficient processes between ship and shore. With the great vision of operating a greenhouse gas neutral fleet as soon as technology allows and to have the first climate neutral ship included to the fleet by 2030, Carnival Maritime has established a new center of excellence with a specific mandate to support the company by defining and executing the decarbonization strategy and its associated multidimensional technological challenges.
With its service and innovation, Carnival Maritime enables the vessels of the two Costa Group brands, Costa Crociere and AIDA Cruises, to meet the current and future needs of the cruise industry.
**Superintendent Occupational Health and Safety Dry Docks (f/m/d)**
**Your Responsibilities**:
- Organisation and management of all relevant occupational health and safety activities and documents for all dry docks
- Management and update acc. to new rules and requirements of all dry docks related OHS standards and procedures
- Participation on yard times as part of the yard team
- Creating reports, statistics, controlling and analysis of OHS dry docks processes
- Support and cooperation with governance to manage the update of OHS documents
**Your Profile**:
- Bachelor’s degree in ship operations, engineering, occupational health and safety or similar
- Professional training in occupational health and safety is mandatory and desirable with focus on cruise industry
- Minimum 3 year of professional experience in area of ship operations as an officer on board or superintendent ashore
- Deep knowledge of international safety rules, requirements and standards are mandatory
- Very good English language skills (English is our company language.)
- Structured and organized way of working as well as good time management
- Service oriented with good communication skills
