The unit bundles marine operation competencies and best practices providing the highest safety, health, environmental and compliance standards for cruising. Our focus is on enhancing and facilitating effective communication and efficient processes between ship and shore. With the great vision of operating a greenhouse gas neutral fleet as soon as technology allows and to have the first climate neutral ship included to the fleet by 2030, Carnival Maritime has established a new center of excellence with a specific mandate to support the company by defining and executing the decarbonization strategy and its associated multidimensional technological challenges.
With its service and innovation, Carnival Maritime enables the vessels of the two Costa Group brands, Costa Crociere and AIDA Cruises, to meet the current and future needs of the cruise industry.
Occupational Health & Safety Specialist (f/m/d)
**Your Responsibilities**:
Responsible for the execution of data analysis and statistics as well as management of accident reports received from the vessels
Support ship and shore organization on occupational health matters
Support the implementation of occupational health procedures and the development of working best practices
Support the Occupational Health & Safety Team with administrative tasks
Identify together with the Occupational Health team opportunities to improve the safety culture and support the safety program
**Your Profile**:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the field of Occupational Health and Safety or alternatively a Nautical/ Maritime education
First working experience in the field of Occupational Health and desirably professional experience in the Marine safety or Maritime sector
A high degree of result orientation, innovation and quality management
Good communication skills, creative and analytical way of thinking as well as a problem-solving attitude
Very good English skills and a proficient handling of MS Office, especially of Excel and Power Point
