Vp Finance

As our VP Finance & Audit, you will be fully responsible to provide best-in-class Controlling, Accounting and Audit Services to all the applike group companies, with the goal to make sure that they can focus on building their businesses. You are going to implement lean and customer-centric processes, build a team in order to make sure to have all expertise in-house in order to successfully manage company audits (including Data Privacy & IT Security) and set up effective controlling and reporting structures for management of our subsidiaries, group management and quarterly shareholder boards.

Tasks
- Full responsibility for all Finance and Audit related tasks for the applike group and our ventures - part of group management next to the two Co-CEOs and the VP People function
- Reporting and Controlling as well as support of C-Level in yearly budget planning
- Financial Accounting, monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting
- Treasury and cash flow management
- Setting up lean but firm Compliance and Security Processes in line with shareholder standards
- Prepare and manage Company Audits (financial, privacy, IT security) with the goal to not impact day2day businesses and minimize overhead of group C-Level
- Setting up international entities (on legal and financial end) for our subsidiaries where needed (currently India, Turkey + US entities)
- Expanding your team to ca. 5 top-notch experts in the first 6 months after starting to have all expertise in-house to be successful
- Coordinating and Leveraging Bertelsmann service centers as resources where needed (accounting, tax etc.)

**Requirements**:

- You have 8+ years of work experience in Finance or Audit related functions
- You have 3+ years leadership experience
- You have an excellent operational Expertise in minimum 2 of the following fields: Financial Controlling & Business Modeling, Accounting, Tax, IT Security, Data Privacy
- You have an output-driven, customer-centric and analytical mindset and are able to think in scalable systems
- You are fluent in German and English, and have outstanding, convincing and to-the-point communication skills
- You have very good Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills (or Google Workspace)
- You have experience working in shareholder structures
- You are interested in Digital Technology/Internet topics and have had first touchpoints or work experience in those
