VIVERE operates a vertically integrated setup with in-house marketing, design, research and development, production, supply chain, and digital sales functions. We sell through Amazon, our own e-Commerce, and 3rd-party retailers. VIVERE also serves as an end-to-end incubator for well-known artists and influencers who want to build their own brands.
For our fast-growing team of more than 100 international consumer talents, we are looking for a Junior Regulatory Affairs Specialist (f/m/x).
The Junior Regulatory Affairs Specialist is responsible for the management and coordination of policies and procedures within all departments to ensure the global compliance of beauty, pet, household, garden and supplement products.
Tasks
- Provide knowledge of current and future regulations regarding cosmetic ingredients, raw materials, packaging, labelling, claims, and other related areas of compliance
- Preparation of product information files (PIFs), cosmetic product safety reports (CPSR) and notifying products on the EU cosmetic product notification portal (CPNP)
- SDS preparations, product classifications, labelling, registrations, authorizations for household products, food supplements and biocidal products in the EU and US markets
- Develop and maintain regulatory standards and protocols to ensure compliance with various international regulations
- Represent the regulatory affairs department on various cross-functional teams to launch and maintain compliance for cosmetics, food supplements, household
- and biocide products in the US, EU and international markets within established product development timelines
- Establish and foster interaction with regional colleagues and regulatory authorities about strategic/complex matters associated with international projects and/or product registrations
- Perform literature searches and regulatory review of publications to assure up-to-date compliance with US, EU, and international regulations and communicate findings to appropriate internal customers
- Identify areas of process improvement and propose new solutions designed to increase value and improve performance
- Experience working with EU and US cosmetics and chemical regulations and a thorough understanding of EU and US regulatory processes affecting cosmetics and consumer products
- Entrepreneurial thinking to make our workflow even more efficient and automated
- Intermediary between external stakeholders and internal product developments
- Ability to work independently while time-managing multiple projects
**Requirements**:
- Ideally educated to degree level in cosmetic sciences, or other scientific discipline (i.e., Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology)
- Ideally 1 year of relevant regulatory experience working within the FMCG industry
- Knowledge of Cosmetic Regulation 1223/2009, Biocidal Product Regulation 528/2012, CLP Regulation 1272/2008
- Good understanding of basic chemistry, science, risk assessment and toxicology
- Willingness to work independently and as part of a team
- You are proficient in English with conversational fluency, German is an advantage
