We are looking for a Head of Public Funding (M/F/d) to lead all new and ongoing funding projects at national and EU level across the Viessmann Group, both for R&D and investment. You will report to the Vice President of Global Public Affairs and Sustainability and will manage a small team. You will be part of a key strategic department within the Group with a 360 degrees view of all R&D and investment activities and work with an innovation leader in climate protection.

**Your impact**:

- Lead and manage screening of existing and newly emerging public funding programs across Germany and Europe on both the national and regional level
- Constant further development of our funding strategy
- Support the Global Public Affairs and Sustainability team with insights on the public funding landscape
- Attending relevant events and maintaining a good network of contacts with political and funding stakeholders
- Team management and coaching

**Who you are**:
You are a positive and proactive personality and have the ability to work on and manage several simultaneous projects while achieving successful outcomes. In addition to that, you have the following background, in order to qualify for the position:

- University degree in science and technology, environmental management, or business
- Proven competencies in public funding and funding partnering in similar industries
- Sound understanding of German national and administrative systems
- Experience of coordinating activities across internal and external organizational boundaries
- Strong proficiency in German and English language in writing & negotiating
