Our department’s objective is to transform and develop the organization by providing guidance, consultancy and governance for the organizational setup and structure of Siemens. As one pilar of the overall Siemens Strategy function and being key contact to the management of businesses, regions and corporate in regards to Siemens’ Organizational Development and Governance topics, we foster Siemens’ thought leadership in transformation internally and externally.
**What part will you play?**
- As Head of Organizational Development (f/m/d) of Siemens, your department's objective is to provide governance and consultancy for the Organizational setup and structure of Siemens while being key contact for the Board as well as the Businesses with regards to the Organizational Development of Siemens
- You will shape the Organization of Siemens on the highest possible level
- You will lead the Organizational Development team of Siemens (8-10 team members) within the Transformation & Organization function
- You will prepare decision proposals for the Board with respect to Organizational Development and Organizational Changes
- This includes also new organizational models to shape and support the transformation of Siemens with its Businesses in a more flexible and agile world (leading e.g. to the new collaboration view)
- As governance owner of the organization, you will propose and define guidelines and regulations for designing an organizational structure which aligns with the organization's strategic goals and will evaluate their effectiveness
- You are responsible of the organizational management with a dedicated team and represent the functional lead of all Organizational Managers in the Regions
- Together with your team, you will discover and use the power of our organizational data to support our businesses and regions deriving strategic decisions, especially by extracting actionable insights
- You play the eco system for organizational development together with the P&O (HR) and Strategy (ST) function as well as the Businesses and Regions of Siemens
- You will further develop the consulting approach for Organizational Development to address senior management
- You are responsible together with your team to coordinate the delineation of our Siemens portfolio internally with business mandates to have the most effective and efficient setup
- You will expand your strong internal and external networks to support the transformation of the way how work is being managed
**What you need to make real what matters.**
- You hold a Master's Degree or equivalent in the field of Economics, Social Sciences or STEM fields
- You have many years (min. 5 years) of work experience in the area of Corporate Strategy, Management Consulting and/or Organizational Development, solid theoretical background as well as experience in project management
- You have a track record of achieving results in challenging assignments, in a complex environment and handling multiple priorities
- You are able to influence multiple levels of the organization and build strong networks internally and externally
- You possess a strong analytical and business oriented personality, are team oriented, combined with excellent communication skills
- Ideally, you have experience in software development and agile team setups
- You are fluent both verbal and written in German and English
