The world is facing an immense challenge. As we digitalize our economic activity, sensitive data & workloads transition to the cloud making businesses intensely vulnerable to cyber security threats. In Germany alone 88% of companies have been a victim of cyber attacks incurring a damage of over €223 billion in 2021 - a number which has more than doubled over the course of two years. At the same time, IT professionals are burdened with lots of administrative and repetitive tasks and lack the time to tackle high value topics.

That is why we started ZenAdmin in 2021 with the mission to free cloud-native companies of the pain of repetitive IT administration & security processes along the employee lifecycle.

Tasks

Your mission

We are looking for an experienced and hungry Sales Leader to lead ZenAdmin into the next growth phase and help us revolutionize how SMEs run their businesses.
- Lead by example and actively engage in sales activities, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and closing deals with SME customers.
- Build and manage a high-performing sales team, providing hands-on coaching, guidance, and mentorship to drive individual and collective success.
- Develop and execute a proactive sales strategy to penetrate target markets and achieve revenue growth objectives, personally taking the lead on strategic accounts.
- Continuously analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities and refine the product roadmap.
- Establish and maintain accurate sales forecasts, sales pipeline management, and regular reporting to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Work closely with the customer success team to ensure seamless handover and successful onboarding of new customers, contributing to high customer satisfaction and retention rates.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, sales methodologies, and emerging technologies relevant to our B2B SaaS IT management solutions.
- Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings, and actively contributing to thought leadership initiatives.

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in B2B SaaS sales, ideally within the IT management or related industry.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in building and managing high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and credibility with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial and hands-on mindset - preferably proven in an early stage startup environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, including pipeline management, forecasting, and achieving revenue targets.
- In-depth knowledge of SME market dynamics, customer pain points, and buying processes.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to track and analyze sales activities and metrics.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and market insights to drive decision-making.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and result-driven mindset with a passion for technology and innovation.
- Proficiency in German and English is a must
