Title: Head of Regulatory Capital Planning, Resolution and Change Business: Finance Division: Global Functions Officer Title: SVP C-Grade: C14 Location: Frankfurt Legal Entity: Citi Global Markets Euorpe AG - German Job Purpose - Ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of regulatory reporting deliverables focused on recovery & resolution requirements, ECB requirements e.g. ICAAP, ECB requirements (Stress test and STE) for the broker dealer entity - Expert in understanding the bank infrastructure, all regulatory effects of a broker dealer - Coordination of projects and change-initiatives for the local German regulatory reporting group - Ensure overall efficient and targeted reporting, identify process improvements & drive reengineering initiatives - Ensure compliance of the local finance team with all key requirements such as MCA, internal and external auditors, and control processes Job Background/Context - Position resides in the Finance area which services German entities including CGME, CEP Germany, Citi-bank NA Frankfurt Branch Key Responsibilities: - Support the Day-to-day management of Finance’s relationship with the German regulators - Support the management and oversight of significant annual regulatory initiatives and reviews, which include ECB Onboarding (Stresstest and STE), ICAAP & SREP Processes, Disclosure (Pillar 3), Recovery & Resolution Planning, Regulatory Inspections, strategic planning - Oversight of Finance’s review of New Product Memos (NPAC/PRC); - Support the oversight of new regulatory rules and requirements and monitoring implementation. - Management of ad-hoc regulatory requirements as required. Contact for questions arising from internal and external stakeholders around regulatory initiatives, which include capital planning processes, ICAAP & SREP related topics as well as Recovery & Resolution requirements - Work with external and internal auditors for all regulatory related queries Interact with International teams on regulatory reporting to ensure knowledge transfer in all directions Development Value: - Gaining knowledge about specific regulatory rules in different EMEA countries. - Opportunity to gain a good working understanding of the Finance Division of a major investment bank. - Experience of working within a complex matrix organization. Qualifications: - Bachelors’ degree from Finance. - Chartered Accountant or equivalent financial background. - University, MBA or Professional Degree an advantage. Experience/Knowledge: - In depth technical knowledge of German regulatory reporting requirements as well as applicable regulation i.e. CRR, CRR2. BRRD I+II and Basel Accords. - Experience in dealing with regulators i.e. BaFin, Bundesbank, ECB, SRB as well as other external auditors - In depth knowledge of Recovery & Resolution requirements or capital planning processes. Good communication and presentation skills - Very good analytical and technical skills - Fluent in German and English in both speech and writing - Practical experience with Finance processes. - Understanding of US and local accounting principles.
