The Group comprises of Crypto Finance AG, regulated by FINMA in Switzerland, which offers trading, custody, and wallet services, as well as Crypto Finance (Deutschland) GmbH, regulated by BaFin in Germany, which offers trading and custody.

We are looking for a skilled and highly motivated **Head of Finance**. You will report to the Managing Director of Crypto Finance Deutschland.

The starting date is as soon as possible in our office in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

**Key responsibilities**
- Provide comprehensive oversight of the company's financial operations and strategy
- Ensure accurate and timely financial accounting and reporting in compliance with regulatory standards
- Develop and manage the company's financial policies, procedures, and controls
- Oversee capital management, including capital increases and financial planning
- Lead the preparation of regulatory reports and liaise with regulatory bodies
- Analyse financial performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategic initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial efficiency and support business objectives
- Advise senior management on specific finance and accounting-related questions
- Manage loss event reporting, incident reporting, and conduct investigations of root causes
- Possess leadership presence to promote risk culture, and train and motivate staff to adopt new practices

**Requirements**:

- Master’s degree in finance or economics
- 4+ years proven experience in a finance role, preferably within the banking, trading, or cryptocurrency industry or at a leading global accounting firm, such as one of the Big Four
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and financial reporting standards
- Demonstrated ability to manage capital, financial planning, and budgeting processes
- Strong problem-solving mindset, creative in finding solutions, structured in implementation
- A dynamic person with an innovative spirit, a positive attitude, and strong motivational skills
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and hands-on, with an attention to detail
- Fluency in English, German is a plus
- A professional accounting qualification and/or previous experience in the crypto industry is a plus
