Director, Vendor Strategy

**We are looking for a** **Director, Vendor Strategy** (all genders)** to join the **Global Vendor Performance team** **on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.**

The Vendor Performance team manages the performance of our restaurants across 50+ markets as well as delivers the technology to support the growth of Delivery Hero globally. We focus on all aspects of the vendor journey once restaurants join our ecosystem Our Vision is to be the go-to platform for all partner needs to enable growth beyond the traditional model. We deliver improved performance and satisfaction of partners through pragmatic technology and better ways of working.

We are present in the life of the restaurant from joining, through onboarding, up to commission payment and we want to fully digitize that experience.

**Your mission**:

- Drive vendor performance vision and strategy - you are a thought leader when it comes to vendor performance, and bring clarity on new / ambiguous topics for all the stakeholders
- Manage and grow a highly motivated team
- Drive performance (efficient operations and order growth) and satisfaction (NPS Score) of our restaurant partners globally
- Establish an effective collaboration model internally (partner with Product and Analytics teams to deliver on the business strategy and initiatives, collaborate with other Global functions internally, and partner with key stakeholders from the regional and country teams
- Foster knowledge/ best practice sharing and collaboration between markets (e.g.: establishing channels for communication; joint reviews etc.)
- Set and track the OKRs with the markets and establish an ambitious roadmap and monitor the adoption
- Driving global adoption, penetration & collaboration (incl. state of the art PMO) of the portfolio of sales products across Delivery Hero (70+ markets)
- Reconcile countries’ needs and technical capabilities, translate requirements into technical stories
- Support tools and technologies integration and lead the change management
- Build reports and visibility to monitor the performance and drive improvements

**Your heroic skills**:

- You gained 10+ years of professional experience with a mix of sales/operations (ideally also management consulting experience). Experience in ecommerce / food-delivery space would be a plus
- You have experience in quick diagnostics, identifying value levers (prioritising) and implementing solutions
- You worked in a global role with responsibility over multiple markets and are fluent in establishing a performance dialogue in such environment
- You have a good understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced on a country level by a fast growing digital/delivery company (e.g.: startup experience)
- Strong with data analysis and numerical reasoning to help understand the effect of various initiatives and steer decision making
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken

**Nice to have**:

- Experience working in a highly product-driven environment
- Experience working with Data Science teams as a business owner
- Experience in business process management and engineering is strongly desired
