Knowing that no two events are the same, we are proud to provide both tailored end-to-end event management solutions and single services upon request.

**The Job**

The purpose of this role is to drive the development of a defined Source Market, accelerate sales, nurture

existing relationships, manage key accounts, acquire new clients and reactivate dormant potential clients for

both agencies and corporate clients for the Meetings & Events European network of Kuoni Tumlare.

Reports to: Head of M&E EUROPE

Key Relationships: senior Client management, trade organizations, trade press and media, senior MICE

Management and leadership, divisional support functions

**Key Activities**:

- Is responsible for the Sales development and performance for the defined Key Accounts within the defined Geographic’s, within Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
- Is accountable and budget responsible for the financial performance of the assigned source markets and the set tasks and financial targets outlined in the goals
- Increase our market share with sustainable business opportunities within the define source markets
- Researches markets continuously, for new opportunities and approach these.
- Identifies marketing and Sales activities
- Improve our market positioning and brand awareness within the source markets and the clients
- Makes sure that information and intelligence regarding the source market and clients and their potential gets communicated across the network.
- Co-ordinates sales activities undertaken in their area by the DMC staff.
- Ensures follow-up on sales activities and researches market for new clients and client opportunities.
- Supports DMCs when necessary in retrieving out standings from clients or solving possible issues.
- Manage the subordinates in a professional business oriented and compliant manner
- Participation in networking organisations like SITE/MPI or other locally relevant to ensure KDM is visible
- A monthly business activity report to be submitted to sales support and superior by end of each month as per provided deadline dates.
- The employee can think and act in an entrepreneurial manner; demonstrates initiative by recognising and seizing opportunities, knows the success-motivators in his/her organisation and puts them into action, weighs risk carefully and takes calculated risks
- The employee must exchange all job-related information with the superior and respective competence centres; The employee is not allowed to disclose any business/company related information to third parties without superior’s approval
- The employee comes up with new product ideas and inform the superior about new business opportunities
- Propose new potential destinations within Europe/worldwide or further develops existing destinations
- The employee’s business behaviour will be always in accordance with the Kuoni Tumlare compliances and “code of conduct”

**Attributes of the role holder**:

- Develop the loyalty and performance for the defined key accounts
- Analyse Markets to the network.
- Report Sales leads and follow-up on these.
- Reports market situation and acts to ensure crucial information is brought to the attention of network and Sales Development.
- Keep open channel of communication with clients, DMCs, sales support and superior.
- Communicate opportunities and caution to the network
- Maintains communication and information flow to the network pertaining to their market
- Identify and support Sales trips and client events for DMC staff or familiarisation trip opportunities for potential destinations.
- Identify potential clients for Partner agreements and supports Sales Development in implementing these.
- Maintains a visible presence in the market.
- Support and spar with Sales Development to identify actions and solutions to be undertaken in their market.
- Participate in key Trade shows and fairs and strategic trade events
- Supply input for Central Marketing to strengthen KDM p
