Pr Lead Germany

**In the role as Regional PR Lead, you will**
- Drive creation and delivery of the PR strategy for FREE NOW in Germany.
- Lead a smaller but very senior team and report to the Global Director of Communications.
- Create a concrete and proactive plan on how to achieve more earned media attention in the public across different channels, in close alignment with the company's global PR strategy and local market priorities.
- Develop local PR initiatives and campaigns, which lead to a noticeable increase in overall company brand awareness.
- Creating meaningful narratives, stories and media hooks to meet the global and local PR goals to achieve nationwide corporate and consumer PR results.
- Grow a strong network of senior media contacts in mainstream and business media and manage to have company stories about us being the Mobility Super App.
- Work alongside the General Manager for Operations as well as in close collaboration with the Marketing team (especially for OoH and Digital Campaigns) to align and coordinate global & local content.
- Coordinate projects with our external stakeholders like agencies.
- Effectively measure the success of your activities and press work.
- Manage KPI measurement: set quarterly targets for the team and be responsible for the achievement of objectives like reach, Tier1 coverage, prominence, SOV and AVE.

**What you need to be successful**
- 8-10 years of professional and leadership experience in journalism and/ or media relations, either in a PR agency or an in-house PR / communications department.
- Academic degree in Public Relations, Communications or equivalent experience.
- Experienced in working in a fast-paced tech focused organisation / working for clients from the consumer or tech space.
- Deep knowledge of the business and media landscape in Germany, with a strong network of media contacts across mainstream, business and lifestyle media.
- Deep knowledge of traditional communications and the PR craft.
- Experience in working with or coordinating a creative PR agency.
- Ability to develop and adjust storytelling across different target groups such as young urbanites, business people, drivers and corporate clients.
- Experience in managing senior stakeholders and working in cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills min. in German and English.
