Senior Director, Talent Acquisition

We're looking to welcome a Senior Director, Talent Acquisition to lead our North America and EMEA regions reporting into the Global Head of Talent Acquisition (TA). You will be managing Recruiting Leaders and a team of over 20 Recruiters located across Canada, Amsterdam, UK, Germany, Ireland, and Georgia. As a leader in the recruiting function, you will have an amazing opportunity to help scale the function and help Lighspeed continue to grow and expand its business.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Build, mentor and develop global Recruiting Managers and delegate authority to expand leadership skills
- Manage through the identification of development opportunities, guidance around recruiting strategy, and ensuring effective business partner relationships globally
- Collaborate and strategize with the HR leadership team and act as department champion across broader HR
- Partner with global leaders and Recruiting Managers to develop short and long term priorities and hiring plans that aligns to the overall company strategic plan
- Anticipate the impact of company's strategic objectives and priorities and provide guidance to global Recruiting function
- Consistently works to innovate and expand the caliber of the global recruiting function by identifying, designing and leading best-in-class recruiting strategies, processes and systems in partnership with Recruiting leadership and Global Head of TA
- Escalate the Recruiting function to be viewed by leaders as true business partners
- Provide oversight on initiatives to strengthen the diversity of our talent at all stages of the hiring funnel
- Responsible for oversight of recruiting spend across direct team and assist Global Head of TA on setting global budget with a thorough understanding of anticipated costs and needs
- Help optimize our metrics and Applicant Tracking System to create a more efficient and effective hiring processes; Identify opportunities to create efficiencies across all recruiting when possible
- Responsible for developing hiring dashboards with Recruiting Managers to effectively communicate insights to hiring managers and senior leaders
- Create, maintain and communicate recruiting capacity plan to identify gaps, needs and recommendations to the Global Head of TA.
- Drive process improvements; Lead teams internally to evaluate areas of improvement, develop solutions, gain input and approvals, and roll out global improvements for the recruiting function.
**What you need to bring**:
- 10+ years of experience in staffing, recruiting or career placement
- 7+ years of recruiting management experience or leading a team
- Experience managing recruiting managers/leaders and mentoring a team
- Previous experience using an applicant tracking system required (Greenhouse preferred)
- Proven track record of managing recruitment strategies in a high growth environment - tech experience is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience creating and executing a metrics-driven recruiting strategy for an international organization
- Experience implementing impactful DE&I initiatives
- Passion for sourcing and developing sourcing depth within recruiting functions
