We are currently seeking to hire a highly motivated and dedicated VP Group Consolidation and Reporting into our Global Group Accounting team based at our Headquarters in Hamburg, Germany.

Your key responsibilities:
- Preparation and control of monthly consolidated financial statements as well as quarterly external reporting in accordance with IFRS- Responsibility for compliance with capital market regulations in Germany and in the US for financial reports- Support and professional management of the subsidiaries in matters relevant to the consolidated financial statements- Manage and lead the employees of the Group Consolidation and Reporting team- Take responsibility for specific projects (e.g., implementation of new consolidation software)- Support in M&A transactions and post-merger integration- Main contact for the auditors

Your ideal qualifications:
- Degree in business administration and broad experience of many years in the management and development of the Group- Accounting department of an internationally operating company or Big 4 firm- Broad understanding of business processes in a fast-growing international company- The ability to question processes and structures meaningfully, to redesign them in a scalable way and to standardize them- In depth knowledge of IFRS- Practical experience in ERP systems and the willingness to deepen the knowledge down to transactional postings- Partnership-based cooperation with adjacent areas as well as with the international country subsidiaries- International, intercultural open mindset- The capacity to contribute as a sparring partner in the management team- Strong leadership skills, ability to motivate and develop the team- Strong communication skills- Fluent in written and spoken English
