We are currently seeking for our Headquarter in Hamburg a highly motivated and dedicatedVP Group Consolidation and Reporting (all genders)Full-time and permanentResponsibilities:Manage and lead the Group Consolidation and Reporting team (three direct reports)Preparation of consolidated financial statements of Evotec Group (listed on Frankfurt Stock Exchange and Nasdaq)Preparation of quarterly and yearly external reporting in accordance with IFRS incl. i.e. IFRS Notes disclosures and Management Discussion & Analysis, as well as coordination of related processResponsibility for compliance with capital market regulations in Germany and in the US for financial reportsSupport and professional management of the subsidiaries of Evotec SE in matters relevant to the consolidated financial statementsTake responsibility for specific projects, e.g. implementation of new standards and regulations according to IFRS or further development of consolidation toolSupport in M&A transactions and post-merger integrationMain contact for the auditorsRequired Qualifications:Leadership experience in the Group Accounting department of an internationally operating company (preferably in a Listed Company)Successful university degree (or equivalent) in business administration, advanced studies in international accounting, group accounting or auditingExperience in an Audit firm would be a plusBroad understanding of consolidation and financial statement closing processesExcellent knowledge of consolidation systems, preferably OneStreamIn depth knowledge of IFRSAbility to interact with various stakeholders, breakdown complex accounting issues, explain and present them to managementInternational, intercultural open mindsetStrong leadership skills, ability to motivate and develop the teamStrong communication skillsFluent in written and spoken German and EnglishOur offer:A permanent position within a vigorous and exciting professional environment promoted by an open culture, a spirit of community and continuous improvementA diverse, international workforce with a dynamic working environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and teamwork30 days annual holiday, monthly allowance for public transportation, and in-house canteenCapital forming benefits, flexible working hours, holiday pay, and annual bonus depending on performanceTo apply, please click on the “Apply” button and provide your application documents (CV and cover letter, including earliest possible start date and salary requirements).
