Vp Technical Accounting and Accounting Policy

We are currently seeking to hire a highly motivated and dedicated VP Technical Accounting and Accounting Policy into our Global Group Accounting team based at our Headquarters in Hamburg, Germany.

Your key responsibilities:
- Responsibility for IFRS accounting regulations and their treatment in the Evotec Group as well as for the implementation of new or adjusted IFRS regulations.- Alignment of IFRS accounting throughout the Evotec Group via a documented and comprehensive Global Accounting Policy- Responsibility for the accounting treatment of complex transactions and contracts, including M&A, contracts with customers, investments, and more.- Manage and lead the employees of the Technical Accounting and Accounting Policy team- Take responsibility for specific projects- Support in M&A transactions and post-merger integration- Preparation of purchase price allocations in accordance with IFRS- Key point of contact for the auditors

Your ideal qualifications:
- Degree in business administration and broad experience of many years within a Public Accounting Firm- Broad understanding of business processes in a fast-growing international company- In depth knowledge of IFRS- Partnership-based cooperation with adjacent areas as well as with the international country subsidiaries- International, intercultural open mindset- The capacity to contribute as a sparring partner in the management team- Strong leadership skills, ability to motivate and develop the team- Strong communication skills- Proficiency in oral and written English
