- You will lead and represent the SFS FA (Finance Advisory) department As a center of expertise and a financial adviser for Siemens’ industrial businesses, FA structures, arranges and implements financing solutions and risk-mitigation concepts worldwide. FA also assists Siemens’ industrial businesses within areas of financial asset and risk management. This involves regular appraisal of the financial service environment and strong management capabilities to successfully position FA within the organization. You develop a strategy with senior executives of Siemens regarding the relationship handling towards international financial institutions and will directly report to the SFS CEO.- Identify and align needs of Siemens industrial businesses and accordingly structure, arrange and implement financing solutions as well as programs for customers and sales partners
- Support SFS overall sales, profitability, and efficiency, attract and retain outstanding people. Essentially contribute in implementing the SFS strategy through supporting Siemens industrial businesses on concrete advisory transactions.
- Closely coordinate with business divisions of SFS throughout the end-to-end deal process and liaise to lever cross selling potential to ensure potentially large share of financing demand of the Siemens industrial businesses is covered by SFS
- Provide independent advisory for industrial businesses to find the best available financing solution in the market combined with Financial Risk Management in the interest of Siemens Group
- Proactively conduct relationship management with local and global banks, ECA and Financial Institutions in the interest of Siemens group - this includes monitoring and implementation of financing conditions for the Siemens group and representation of Siemens in committees
- Ensure governance for risk mitigation and sales-related financing
- Build a dedication environment, focusing on the customer and on best-practices
- Further develop Industrial Business interface via positive relationship building and proactive advisory in finance
- Implement advisory support for government supported loans and selected areas (e.g. fee-based advisory support in the areas of Sustainability and/ or Siemens Healthineers)

**What you need to make real what matters.**
- Broad business leadership experience, with demonstrated cross cultural sensitivity and an ability to lead from the front (minimum 15 years experience)
- Fundamental understanding of financial markets and their economic trends and risks
- Management skills: leadership, communication, compromises, coordination and motivation
- Knowledge in the Siemens Businesses including key players, market dynamics and business mechanics
- Broad and robust commercial understanding & awareness of finance and leasing industry in context of project finance and/or banking
- Experience of successful involvement, agreement and execution of sophisticated project finance and related transactions in a highly driven environment across a range of business sectors, including large ticket and public sector
