In this role, you report directly to the Head of Finance and are responsible for supervising all aspects of finance and accounting operations globally as well as the strategy of the Solutions (SOL) organization. This position requires a strong financial acumen of project businesses, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with all stakeholders to drive the transformation, ensuring profitability, shaping the strategic direction, and ensuring operational success of the Grid Software Solutions Business worldwide.

As the Head of Finance Operations Solutions (f/m/d), you will make an impact by:

• Being a trusted partner to the SOL Head Bid Management as well as Projects.
• Leading a finance team of app. 30 employees with global responsibility across various global locations and act as a role model for the financial community and beyond by living and promoting ownership culture and developing your team to the next level making diversity a priority.
• Being responsible for Commercial Project Management as well as Commercial Bid Management
• Together with your peers, you drive growth plans for our redefining business and efficient capital allocation.
• Driving value creation via collaboration of Siemens & non-Siemens units. Being the key player, expand your skills to define the finance strategy
• In alignment with the business, the transformation of business models - including capital allocation to ensure the achievement of strategic and business objectives.
• Being accountable for the integrity of books and records, protecting assets and driving balanced Value Creation.
• Play an active role in bids / tenders including collaborate with customers, partners, and financial institutions.
• Drive innovative IT solutions /processes based on the joint SI architecture / Sherpa X eco-system.

• Education

• University degree (Bachelor or Master) or an equivalent qualification.

• Experience & Skills

• You have many years of leadership experience in the area of business controlling and finance in a cross-functional and international environment.

• It is important to you to lead your teams with empowerment, encourage talent, and lead by example.
• You setup early warning indicators and define measures in case of any deviations.
• A high expertise in IFRS and Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines (SFRGs) is crucial while experience in solutions and/or software is a plus.
• You have passion for customer-centric and innovation management and deep interest for the Power Grid Siemens business and portfolio.
• You think analytical and have the capability to structure sophisticated tasks and challenges.
• Your resilient demeanor in a fast-paced environment is important, while always challenging the status quo.

• You are a self-reflecting leader and live a feedback culture. You have good communication and presentation skills in English and a very convincing manner.

• Ways of working: analytical, problem-solving attitude with strong decision-making abilities, and a growth mindset.

• Languages: business proficiency in German and English
