Are you a data science expert looking to drive business growth in the retail industry? Our client, a leading innovator in retail analytics, is seeking a talented Senior Data Scientist to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Insights:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of large retail datasets to uncover actionable insights and drive business strategy.
  • Develop predictive models to forecast sales, customer behavior, and inventory needs, utilizing Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and statsmodels.

Time Series Analysis:

  • Implement and refine time series models to predict future trends in retail metrics, leveraging expertise in ARIMA, SARIMA, and Prophet models.
  • Utilize machine learning algorithms to optimize pricing, promotions, and product placement, and explore advanced algorithms for demand forecasting and customer segmentation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with marketing, finance, and operations teams to integrate data-driven solutions and drive strategic decisions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, utilizing strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts.

Tool Development & Automation:

  • Create automated pipelines for data processing and model deployment, utilizing tools like Jupyter, Docker, and Airflow.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring scalability and maintainability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

  • Proficient in Python, with a strong focus on libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and statsmodels.
  • Extensive experience in time series analysis, including ARIMA, SARIMA, and Prophet models.

Analytical Mindset:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business problems into data science solutions.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to work with complex datasets.

Communication Skills:

  • Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of presenting findings and influencing business strategy.

Package:

  • Salary range €80,000 - €100,000
  • 30 Annual leave days
