- Professional Development: Deliver feedback and guide your team in their professional development within MobiLab, giving direction on personal growth and skill enhancement.
- Onboarding and Support: Lead the onboarding process of new team members and provide support whenever necessary.
- Empowerment: Empower team members to take ownership of their projects and tasks.
- Point of Contact: Act as a point of contact for any issues within the team.
You are a seasoned data engineer with at least 5 years of professional experience and at least 2 years of experience in leading a team of engineers in a data-centric environment. You have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, or a relevant subject such as mathematics or physics.
- Technical Expertise: You have experience in modeling data landscapes and are familiar with concepts such as Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Vault, Data Mart.
- Analytics Processing: You are comfortable working with analytics processing engines (i.e. Spark, Flink), have experience with different storage formats (i.e. JSON, Parquet, ORC), and have a deep understanding of storage systems and their capabilities (i.e. distributed filesystems, SQL and noSQL data stores).
- Data Pipelines: You are proficient in structuring data pipelines for reliability, scalability, and optimal performance.
- Problem-Solving: You meet challenges with creative problem-solving and a hands-on approach, encouraging the same within your team.
- Leadership: You inspire your team, contributing fully to your role and motivating others to do the same.
- Language: You are fluent in English.
