Key Responsibilities- Assisting in the upkeep of billing master data, codes, and conditions
- Engaging in cash invoicing activities
- Overseeing and enhancing billing-related workflows
- Managing billing for private patients and those requiring specialized medical services
- Processing invoices for patients receiving chief physician services
- Preparing billing data through PVS
- Validating invoices from external laboratories
- Addressing inquiries from patients, insurance providers, healthcare professionals, and others regarding billing issues
- Handling complaints and managing identification for returned correspondence
- Collaborating with an external agency for debt collection processes
- Conducting various forms of customer communication
- Coordinating and adhering to processing deadlines and schedules
- Performing general office duties such as filing and archiving
Candidate Profile
- Completed training as a Healthcare Management Clerk or relevant experience in medical billing
- Familiarity with fee schedules for medical services is preferred
- Experience in chief physician billing is a plus
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with modern communication tools
- Knowledge of MS Office and preferably SAP
- Detail-oriented and focused work approach
- Excellent interpersonal skills and assertiveness
- Strong communication, organizational skills, service orientation, initiative, resilience, and adaptability
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team
