Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Accounting and Financial Management to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing all accounting and financial functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a consolidated view of the management companies for actual, forecast, and budget figures.
- Present financial management reports to the Vctavern management.
- Internalize the accounting and financial activities, establishing and improving internal processes and procedures.
- Interact with external providers, defending the position of Vctavern.
- Be responsible for preparing individual budget figures for cost and profit centers.
- Perform deviation analysis between budget and actual figures.
- Prepare financial statements and be responsible for financial market authority filings.
- Collaborate with external service providers, such as fund administrators and depositories, in managing fund liquidity, preparing drawdown and distribution notices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced environment, such as asset management, VC, PE, consulting, or IB.
- Exceptional analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficient knowledge of Excel and BMD, with an interest in learning new tools.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with a high degree of flexibility to adjust to last-minute updates or changes.
- Able to take the lead and ownership to get things done.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Dedicated work ethic, proactive attitude, and commitment to a goal-oriented environment.
- Desire to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial organization.
- Fluency in English and German.
- CA qualification is a plus.

Minimum Salary
According to Austrian law, we are required to state a minimum salary for this position. The expected minimum salary for this role is EUR 70,000.00 gross annually.
