Job Overview

CyberArk is seeking a skilled Solutions Engineer specializing in DevOps and Cloud technologies, primarily focusing on sales initiatives across the DACH region, which includes Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

The Solutions Engineer will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in our DevOps and Cloud offerings. This role involves close collaboration with Solution Sales Specialists to form a dedicated sales team where the SME is responsible for the technical dimensions of the sales process. The ideal candidate will showcase the value of our solutions during presentations, address technical challenges, align CyberArk's offerings with customer needs, and leverage their technical expertise to build customer trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with Solution Sales Specialists in your designated sub-regions to create a strong, specialized sales team.
  • Design and deliver engaging product demonstrations and sales presentations that highlight the advantages of CyberArk technology. Utilize your understanding of DevOps principles to align with customer requirements and address their challenges with CyberArk solutions.
  • Plan and execute Proofs of Concept (POCs) for CyberArk products with potential clients, utilizing your sales acumen to articulate CyberArk's unique value propositions.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in Salesforce.
  • Gather and relay ongoing feedback to CyberArk's Solutions and Product Management teams to influence product development and advocate for customer perspectives.
  • Establish customer confidence by demonstrating proficiency in application secrets management.
  • Represent CyberArk at trade shows and customer events, promoting our solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge (3+ years) of DevOps technologies, including containerization, configuration management, and CI/CD practices. Proficient in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Exceptional presentation skills and a professional demeanor, with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Tanzu.
  • Experience with Source Control Management (SCM) tools like GitLab and CI/CD tools such as Ansible and Jenkins.
  • Understanding of security principles and the development of security roles that comply with functional, technical, and regulatory standards.
  • Ability to foresee potential risks and devise immediate solutions; adaptable to changing circumstances.
  • Experience in navigating enterprise-level sales cycles is preferred.
  • Development experience in languages such as Go, Python, or Ruby is advantageous.
  • Fluency in both English and German is required.
