Job Overview

CyberArk is seeking a skilled Solutions Engineer - DevOps & Cloud to enhance our sales initiatives across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH). This role is pivotal in driving our technical sales efforts and establishing CyberArk as a leader in DevOps and Cloud solutions.

The ideal candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in DevOps and Cloud technologies, collaborating closely with our Solution Sales Specialists. Together, they will form a dedicated sales team where the SME will oversee the technical components of the sales process. Demonstrating value during presentations, addressing technical challenges, and aligning CyberArk solutions with customer needs are key responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with Solution Sales Specialists to form a cohesive sales team focused on your designated sub-regions.
  • Develop and present engaging product demonstrations and sales presentations that highlight the advantages of CyberArk technology. Utilize your understanding of DevOps principles to connect with customer requirements and propose suitable solutions.
  • Plan and execute DevOps & Cloud Proof of Concepts (POCs) for potential clients, showcasing CyberArk's unique value propositions.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in Salesforce.
  • Gather and relay continuous feedback to CyberArk's Solutions and Product Management teams to influence product strategy and advocate for customer interests.
  • Build customer trust by showcasing expertise in application secrets management.
  • Represent CyberArk at tradeshows and customer events, promoting our solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Extensive knowledge (3+ years) of DevOps technologies, including containerization, configuration management, and CI/CD practices. Proficient in SDLC and agile methodologies.
  • Exceptional presentation skills and a professional demeanor, capable of conveying complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Tanzu.
  • Experience with source control management tools like GitLab and CI/CD tools such as Ansible and Jenkins.
  • Understanding of security principles and the development of security roles that comply with functional, technical, and regulatory standards.
  • Ability to foresee challenges and develop immediate solutions; adaptable to changing circumstances.
  • Experience navigating enterprise-level sales cycles is preferred.
  • Development experience in languages such as Go, Python, or Ruby is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English and German is required.
