Position Overview:

CyberArk is seeking a Solutions Engineer specializing in DevOps and Cloud to enhance our sales initiatives across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH region).

The ideal candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in our DevOps and Cloud offerings, collaborating closely with our Solution Sales Specialists to form a dedicated sales team. This role is pivotal in managing the technical components of the sales process, ensuring that our solutions align with customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Solution Sales Specialists to build a robust sales strategy tailored to your designated regions.
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations that showcase the value of CyberArk technology, utilizing your expertise in DevOps to connect with customer requirements.
  • Plan and implement DevOps and Cloud Proof of Concepts (POCs) for potential clients, effectively communicating CyberArk's unique value propositions.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in Salesforce.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to CyberArk's Solutions and Product Management teams to influence product development and advocate for customer interests.
  • Establish credibility with clients by demonstrating proficiency in application secrets management.
  • Represent CyberArk at industry events and trade shows, promoting our solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of advanced knowledge in DevOps technologies, including containerization, configuration management, and CI/CD processes.
  • Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Tanzu.
  • Experience with source control management tools like GitLab and CI/CD tools such as Ansible and Jenkins.
  • Understanding of security principles and the establishment of security roles that comply with functional, technical, and regulatory standards.
  • Ability to foresee challenges and develop solutions proactively; adaptable to changing circumstances.
  • Experience in navigating enterprise-level sales cycles is preferred.
  • Development experience in languages such as Go, Python, or Ruby is advantageous.
  • Fluency in both English and German is required.
