We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Geiger Food Ingredients Recruitment & Consult. As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for expanding and structuring our Fine Chemical/Pharmaceutical Business Unit.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct market research to identify business opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate new segments within the industry.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers in the industry.
- Make contact with potential clients, understand their needs, and tailor solutions to meet those needs.
- Work closely with the Fine Chemical BU Director to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination on projects.
- Liaise with HQ to provide regular updates on the development of API business in Germany and Central Europe.
- Prepare detailed reports on market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry or pharmaceutical science or a related discipline.
- Results-Driven, demonstrating a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, preferably in the chemical raw materials industry.
- Familiarity with the pharmaceutical market, particularly in the production of APIs.
- Existing network within the chemical pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers, understand their needs, and explain the technical aspects of the products in a clear and compelling manner.
- A proactive mindset to take initiative in order to identify and pursue opportunities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with the existing sales team and other departments within the company.
- Fluency in German. Proficiency in English is often necessary for international business interactions and for internal communication.
