Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Geiger Food Ingredients Recruitment & Consult. As a key member of our Fine Chemical Business Unit, you will be responsible for expanding and structuring our business in Germany and Central Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market research to identify and pursue business opportunities in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
  • Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new segments within the relevant industry.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers in the industry.
  • Make contact with potential clients, understand their needs, and tailor solutions to meet those needs.
  • Work closely with the Fine Chemical BU Director to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination on projects.
  • Liaise with HQ to provide regular updates on the development of API business in Germany and Central Europe.
  • Prepare detailed reports on market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry or pharmaceutical science or a related discipline.
  • Results-Driven, demonstrating a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, preferably in the chemical raw materials industry.
  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical market, particularly in the production of APIs.
  • Existing network within the chemical pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers, understand their needs, and explain the technical aspects of the products in a clear and compelling manner.
  • A proactive mindset to take initiative in order to identify and pursue opportunities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with the existing sales team and other departments within the company, such as technical support and customer service.
  • Fluency in German. Proficiency in English is often necessary for international business interactions and for internal communication.
