Key Responsibilities:

Organizational and Personnel Development:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with the company's vision of achieving Zero Waste Solutions
  • Initiate and lead change and organizational development processes with strategic vision
  • Implement sustainable and targeted personnel development measures for both managers and employees


HR Process Development and Compliance:

  • Further develop HR processes and ensure timely, legally compliant operational HR work
  • Oversee payroll operations and drive the digitization of the HR system landscape
  • Act as a solution-oriented and trustworthy business partner to management and executives
  • Advise and support on all HR-related issues and design relevant HR measures
  • Monitor and analyze HR key figures and derive appropriate measures with executives


Talent Acquisition and Retention:

  • Shape and enhance employer branding to attract top talent in the market
  • Position the company professionally as an employer in relevant markets
  • Ensure the attraction and retention of high-caliber candidates to meet organizational goals


Employee Relations and Labour Law:

  • Strong understanding of local and EU labor laws
  • Maintain a collaborative and trusting relationship with employee representatives
  • Develop results-oriented solutions in partnership with employee representatives


Team Leadership:

  • Lead and support a diverse HR team of 13 people, fostering an inclusive environment that empowers team members to perform at their best and contribute to the company's success
  • Foster an environment that enables the HR team to contribute effectively to the company's success as a modern manager


Candidate Background and Profile:

  • A degree in economics, law, social sciences, human resources, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience
  • Significant management experience (typically around 10 years) in a similar role within an innovative and long-term-oriented entrepreneurial environment
  • HR generalist with extensive knowledge of modern HR instruments, processes, tools, and IT systems
  • Strong background in change management and organizational development
  • Results-driven, organized, and adaptable, with a collaborative and proactive approach to work
  • Excellent conceptual and analytical skills with a keen eye for potential and solution-oriented approaches
  • Capable of leading and supporting teams through change processes
  • Proficiency in English is required to collaborate effectively with our international teams and stakeholders
  • The role can be based in either our Cologne or Berlin office, with the flexibility to travel between these locations and other sites as needed for business operations
