Global Compensation Strategist

As a key member of our Group HR Function, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the compensation and benefits strategy for Bauer Media Group. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing and deploying a compensation and benefits structure that aligns with the company's global goals.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a global compensation strategy that takes into account the diverse needs of our international locations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from various countries to ensure compensation and benefit structures are aligned with local market conditions.
  • Design and implement competitive compensation structures, bonus schemes, and employee benefits plans that drive business results.
  • Lead the global annual remuneration round, ensuring fairness and equity in bonus and base salary decisions.
  • Develop and implement compensation processes and tools, identifying opportunities for digitalization and process improvement.
  • Conduct benchmark analyses to inform compensation decisions and drive business outcomes.
  • Work closely with Corporate Finance to determine, analyze, and evaluate personnel cost budgets and salary increase budgets.
  • Build, lead, and manage a team of Total Rewards Managers, providing guidance and support to ensure team success.

    Your Profile

    • You hold a business degree and have a minimum of seven years of experience in compensation and benefits, preferably in an international matrix organization.
    • You possess expertise in conceptual development and optimization of international compensation systems and structures.
    • You have a proven track record of successfully implementing international projects and possess strong stakeholder management skills.
    • You are proficient in German and English, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and experience with SAP/SUCCESSFACTORS.
    • You possess a high level of discretion and can maintain confidentiality when required.
    • You are a process-driven, data-oriented individual with a strategic and critical thinking approach.
