Join Novocarbo GmbH as a Business Development Manager - Carbon Removal

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Novocarbo GmbH. As a key member of our Industrial Materials Team, you will be responsible for identifying new customers and development partners in the biochar-related market, exploring partnerships for biochar-based additives in industrial applications, and setting up and driving development projects with external and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify new customers and development partners in the biochar-related market
  • Explore partnerships for biochar-based additives in industrial applications
  • Set up and drive development projects with external and internal stakeholders
  • Translate customer needs into technical specifications and quality parameters to drive development of our products
  • Develop sales strategies and sales structures to enter existing and new markets with innovative products
Requirements:
  • University degree in business administration, business engineering, or similar
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in environmental technology, sustainability, or in the chemical or steel industry
  • Broad experience in project management as well as industrial and/or B2B sales
  • Highly motivated to see your impact and develop yourself constantly alongside your team and our company
  • Fluent communication in German and English (C1 level), and any other language is a plus
  • High IT-tool affinity: we mainly work with MS 365 and Notion
  • Good understanding of complex environments and growing industries, such as the Carbon Removal and Biochar Market
