About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Country Manager to lead our operations in Germany. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, managing sales teams, and ensuring the implementation of corporate strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the operations and sales activities within Germany.
- Drive business growth, manage sales teams, ensure the implementation of corporate strategies, and maintain key relationships with clients and partners across the region.
- Ensure smooth functioning of the country office, compliance with local regulations, and alignment with global corporate standards.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow the market share in the country and ensure the achievement of business goals.
- Lead and manage the local team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and collaboration.
- Ensure that the organisation adheres to country-specific legal, fiscal, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies in line with corporate objectives to drive revenue growth.
- Build, lead, and motivate the regional sales team, ensuring proper training, performance management, and goal alignment.
- Identify new business opportunities in the region and develop strategic partnerships to expand the company's presence.
- Maintain relationships with high-value clients and partners, negotiating contracts and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Monitor sales performance, analyse market trends, and provide accurate sales forecasts to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with other departments to introduce new products or services in the region.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to represent the company and build valuable relationships.
Requirements
- University Degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing.
- 7-10 years of sales and business development experience in FinTech environment, including 3 years in management.
- Understanding of market trends and competition.
- Strong leadership skills. Managing and motivating teams across regions.
- Ability to develop strategies and achieve targets.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. Experience in diverse business environments.
- Expert knowledge of local market, regulations, and industry trends.
- Fluency in German and English languages (written and spoken).
- Regulatory Certifications same or equivalent to CySEC Advanced Certification will be advantageous.
