Technical Purchasing Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Purchasing Specialist to join our team at ALPHA-ENGINEERING KG. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for identifying, selecting, and developing suppliers for turning and milling parts as well as welded constructions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effective and high-quality deliveries.
  • Negotiations: Conduct price negotiations and contract discussions with suppliers to secure competitive terms.
  • Quality Management: Ensure compliance with quality standards by implementing quality control processes and continually improving the quality of purchased parts.
  • Deadline Monitoring: Track delivery schedules and identify bottlenecks to ensure timely delivery.
  • Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends, technologies, and potential suppliers to stay ahead in the industry.
Requirements
  • Completed technical education or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
  • Several years of experience in technical purchasing of turning and milling parts as well as welded constructions.
  • Fluent in German and English, with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Solid knowledge of quality management and supplier development.
  • Analytical and solution-oriented mindset, with a strong focus on quality and delivery.
  • Team player with initiative and a high level of reliability.
