Department: Procurement

As a Procurement Student Assistant at RWE AG, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily procurement functions related to Direct Procurement for our renewable energy projects, specifically in onshore wind and solar sectors across Europe and Australia. Your contributions will be essential during both the development and construction phases, as well as in the operational and maintenance aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of our operational onshore wind and solar initiatives.
  • Collaborate on tenders alongside various international teams.
  • Oversee service contracts and agreements for spare parts and materials for wind turbine generators, working within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Conduct analysis and evaluations of tender documents and prepare price comparisons.
  • Utilize SAP for managing purchase requisitions from technical departments.
  • Facilitate the preparation of internal and external meetings.
  • Address ad-hoc requests to support ongoing projects.
  • Contribute to the development of a lessons learned and supplier management database.
  • Prepare management presentations.
  • Implement framework agreements into the SAP system to enable automated ordering processes.
  • Execute call-offs against existing framework agreements.
  • Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders where automatic SAP contracts are not available.
  • Provide support for invoice queries related to purchase orders.

Candidate Profile:

  • Currently pursuing studies in supply chain management, project management, business administration, or engineering.
  • Possess initial practical experience in an international corporate environment, demonstrating intercultural understanding and adaptability.
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Exhibit strong analytical and communication skills, complemented by a creative mindset, curiosity, and a proactive approach.
