Department: Procurement
As a Procurement Student Assistant at RWE Renewables Europe & Australia GmbH, you will assist in the daily procurement operations related to Direct Procurement for our onshore wind and solar initiatives across Europe & Australia during both the development and construction phases, as well as in the operation and maintenance sector.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of our operational onshore wind and solar initiatives.
- Support tender processes in collaboration with relevant functions within international teams.
- Oversee service contracts and agreements for spare parts and materials for wind turbine generators, working in multidisciplinary and international teams.
- Conduct analysis and evaluation of tender documents and prepare price comparisons.
- Utilize SAP for managing purchase requisitions from technical departments.
- Assist in the preparation of both internal and external meetings.
- Handle ad-hoc requests to facilitate ongoing projects.
- Contribute to the development of a lessons learned and supplier management database.
- Prepare management presentations.
- Implement framework agreements into the SAP system to enable automatic ordering.
- Execute call-offs against existing framework agreements.
- Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders where automatic SAP contracts are not available.
- Provide support for invoice queries related to purchase orders.
Your Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing studies in supply chain management, project management, business administration, or engineering.
- Previous practical experience in an international organization, demonstrating intercultural understanding and openness.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Strong analytical and communication skills, complemented by a creative mindset, curiosity, and proactivity.
