About the Role

The Voith Group is a global technology company with a broad portfolio of systems, products, services, and digital applications. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the organization, management, and supervision of the assembly of machines, machine groups, and hydropower plant construction sites.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project management, consortium partners, and customers to ensure the smooth assembly process.
  • Lead and plan the deployment of assembly supervisors and assembly companies.
  • Provide technical project support for the components of the respective delivery scope.
  • Coordinate with customers, consultants, authorities, and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient assembly.
  • Monitor and record costs, as well as ensure and oversee safety and quality requirements.
  • Document construction progress and deviations, and promote proactive assembly planning.
  • Implement and monitor adherence to the schedule on the construction site according to the master time schedule.

Your Profile

  • You have completed technical training or hold a degree as a technician.
  • You have many years of experience in construction management, assembly, assembly supervision, and ideally, commissioning of power plant equipment.
  • Good French and English skills, as well as additional foreign language skills, are desirable.
  • You impress with an open and confident demeanor when dealing with customers, suppliers, and other project participants, coupled with cooperation skills, loyalty, flexibility, and resilience.
  • We expect a willingness for long-term international assignments worldwide.
