We are seeking a skilled Employee Relations Specialist to join our People & Culture team at Delivery Hero. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in German employment law and employee relations, with a proven track record of managing works councils in complex environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on employment-related matters, including disciplinary procedures, grievances, and performance management. They will also be responsible for building strong relationships with business leaders and HR partners to drive positive employee relations practices.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing sound, expert ER advice and guidance to People Partners (HRBPs) and business leaders on reorganization and restructuring activity in line with local employment practices and employment law.
- Cultivating and delivering relevant training and education to improve HRBP and leader effectiveness and drive better ER decisions.
- Building partnerships with business leaders and our People Partner team (HRBPs) to sustain positive employee relations practices.
- Fostering strong working relationships with our Employment Legal team, compliance, and investigations teams to balance risk and calibrate recommendations for decision-making.
- Preparing information and consultation of works councils to advise on business decisions as well as participating in negotiations with works council in committee proceedings.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, ideally with a focus on HR or Employment Law, and be fluent in English; German is a big plus. They will also have a track record of working from election to implementation of works councils and managing works councils in highly demanding environments.
