Position Overview

Cinemo is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join its Business Development and Sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both software development and consumer electronics hardware manufacturing industries, excellent communication skills, a solution-oriented approach, and the commercial acumen to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research through industry reports, market analysis, and business intelligence to identify potential prospects and classify them accordingly.
  • B2B Lead Generation: Develop and execute lead generation strategies, including email outreach, phone calls, networking, and trade show participation, to establish a strong pipeline of potential customers.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Foster and grow relationships with both hardware and software customers to achieve long-term business objectives by partnering with key stakeholders, understanding their pain points, and identifying their needs and requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including technical, marketing, and product development departments, to understand Cinemo's solutions and effectively communicate them to customers and potential leads.
  • Contract Management: Participate in the review, drafting, and negotiation of contracts from a business perspective to ensure that Cinemo's interests are protected.
Requirements
  • Experience in a highly competitive, technology-driven industry sector (e.g. software, consumer electronics, IoT)
  • Several years of experience in business development or B2B sales, with a proven track record of negotiating and closing Tier 1 and Tier 2 clients
  • Familiarity with software products, services, and technologies
  • Understanding of hardware manufacturing partners' business processes would be an advantage
  • Ability to understand client needs, tailor the pitch, and present solutions to win the customer
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication
