The Accounting Manager is a key finance position that will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Teraki. This role requires accurate financial control and will develop business acumen by working closely with a highly experienced C-level team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare a comprehensive month-end reporting pack for external accounting service providers.
- Ensure accurate bank reconciliations for all accounts and credit cards on a monthly basis.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external accounting and tax specialists.
- Maintain up-to-date financial and cash-flow models.
- Collaborate with the CFO to develop increasingly complex financial modeling.
- Manage cash flow, control tax payments, and ensure timely receipt of credit payments.
- Verify that payments are made and received in accordance with contractual agreements.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation, adhering to company policy and accepted accounting practices.
- At least 2 years of experience in a finance team with similar responsibilities.
- University or college courses in accounting.
- Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis, and multi-tasking skills.
- Experience with Datev is a plus but not essential.
- A strong work ethic, well-organized, and self-motivated individual.
- Detail-oriented, professional attitude, reliable, and proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, effective verbal and written communication, and ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
