Global Accounting Manager

CTG Consulting GmbH is a leading provider of specialized business solutions, seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Accounting Manager to join our dynamic finance team.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of our global accounting functions, maintaining compliance with international financial reporting standards, and contributing to the strategic direction of our finance department.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and optimize accounting processes across all subsidiaries within the Group, guaranteeing accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with our tax team and external advisors to ensure full compliance with global tax regulations.
  • Lead the preparation of comprehensive monthly and annual financial statements, providing insightful analysis to support management decision-making.
  • Actively participate in senior finance team meetings, contributing to the development and implementation of strategic financial initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our auditors, ensuring seamless audit processes and timely completion of all requirements.
  • Manage cash flow effectively, overseeing payment runs and maintaining bank account administration.
Qualifications:
  • Possess a recognized professional accounting qualification (CPA, tax advisor, or equivalent).
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate significant experience leading accounting teams and managing international accounting operations.
  • Exhibit a thorough understanding of both national and international accounting standards (IFRS, German GAAP).
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of German and international tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to prepare and analyze financial statements, conduct tax audits, and manage cash flow effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting modules.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling clear and effective interaction with stakeholders, including auditors and tax authorities.
  • Highly detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken; German language skills are highly advantageous.
