Global Accounting Manager

CTG Consulting GmbH is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Accounting Manager to join our dynamic finance team.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our global accounting processes and maintaining compliance with international financial reporting standards.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of accounting operations across various subsidiaries and locations worldwide.
  • Develop and implement efficient accounting procedures to ensure accuracy, transparency, and regulatory adherence.
  • Collaborate closely with the Group Tax Manager and local tax advisors to ensure global tax compliance.
  • Coordinate the timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and other relevant standards.
  • Actively participate in senior finance team meetings, contributing to strategic financial planning and initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, facilitating smooth audit processes.
  • Manage cash flow effectively, overseeing payment runs and bank account administration.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a professional accounting qualification (CPA, tax advisor, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate significant experience leading accounting teams and managing international accounting operations.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of national and international accounting standards (IFRS, German GAAP).
  • Be well-versed in German and international tax regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to prepare and analyze financial statements and conduct tax audits.
  • Experience with cash management organization and bank account administration.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • A results-oriented individual with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
  • Proficient in using ERP systems, particularly accounting modules.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Fluency in English is essential; German language proficiency is an asset.
